Stamp Out Hunger Event
The Des Moines Zen Center sangha has an opportunity to volunteer for the Des Moines Area Religious Council‘s Stamp Out Hunger event (https://www.dmarcunited.org/
DMARC partners with the National Association of Letter Carriers to collect and sort tens of thousands of food donations from across the metro during the Stamp Out Hunger campaign. Your help is needed to count, date & quality check, sort, and package these items for distribution throughout the DMARC Food Pantry Network. The event runs from May 11-18 and there are multiple dates and times to volunteer. A group of DMZC sangha members will be volunteering on Sat, May 18, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, but your help is welcome during any of the dates and times that are listed.
